ScreenX is the world’s first multi-projection theater technology used within a theatre setting that expands the cinema space by projecting images onto left and right sides of the cinema wall, creating an immersive and panoramic viewing experience. This is the second BTS movie to come stateside, after the massive success of 2018's Burn the Stage: The Movie. In December 2018, the band TWICE was the first to bring their movie "Twiceland" to the ScreenX theaters, to huge success. Starting January 26, fans can watch the movie in 3,800 cinemas in 95 countries. The event movie was originally supposed to air for one night in January on normal theater screens in the U.S., but demand was so high the ScreenX technology creators CJ 4DPLEX extended it for two weeks and adapted the movie for ScreenX theaters. BTS World Tour Love Yourself in Seoul was shot with this technology in mind, transporting fans to the concert of their dreams. According to the ScreenX website, theaters built with the technology can show images on three walls of a theater, increasing the level of immersion. This will be the first concert "experience" to feature ScreenX three-side-surround, multi-projection technology. The movie captures the two-night concert from the group's performance in front of 90,000 fans in August 2018 at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul. Fans unable to watch the band perform live in concert will soon be able to experience BTS in all their glory in the new movie, BTS World Tour Love Yourself in Seoul. ![]() BTS is one of the most successful K-Pop bands of the past decade, with millions of followers around the world. ![]()
